  1. I have a 2009 Fusion SE with automatic transmission. When I start the vehicle and go from park into reverse without removing my foot from the brake pedal, the idle is very rough and I can feel motion in the vehicle. This does not occur when going from park to drive. The motion also is not present while in reverse and moving. Any ideas what could be wrong? A bad transmission mount?
  2. My 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium shows a message on the left screen saying “check rear park aid” the car is a salvage title with rear damage. The car was fix when I bought it but the message still there, the rear sensors works because when I go into reverse it detects a car passing by, by a a message on the left screen saying “vehicle coming from left” or “right”. And in settings it won’t let me choose the option “rear park aid” Maybe a park sensor out of the 4 doesn’t work or how can I check if any of the 4 sensors works? I upload images for information
  3. Hello I am going crazy here trying to find info anywhere I can on what could possibly be the issue with my vehicle. Trying to avoid any towing or mechanic fees unless last resort. My car was riding fine the day this issue began, Came home from store and parked the car, put it in reverse to adjust parking then slid it back into park. No unusual sounds or anything but the car was stuck in reverse on the dashboard and gear, but the shifter was in park and I then couldn't move it at all. Put the emergency brake on and turned the car off. Tried turning the car back on, but it wouldn't start due to it being in reverse. Cannot move shifter at all to move to any other gears its just stuck in PARK. Brake lights work fine although the brake pedal does feel a little bit tougher to push down. Does anyone have any info on what I should be looking at or where to start? Thanks so much for any help.
  4. Hi guys, new to the forums and new owner of a year old 2013 Fusion SE 2.0. Car has 22000 Kms on it. Car runs great shifts great, no power shortage or anything. I only have one little worry with the car. When I put it in reverse, I hear a mechanical click and the car bumps just a little. If I go from reverse back do Drive, same noise happens. Now I had the car into Ford and they said it was normal operation of the vehicle. Then I asked a co worker who is very good with cars. He is also telling me this is normal. Now, I've only ever driven this fusion. Never tested others. Is this single click noise anything to even worry about? Is it normal operation of the vehicle? You 2.0 owners, do you get this as well? Some feedback would be greatly appreciated as I want to drive my car and not worry the whole time. Thanks!
  5. Hello, just picked up a used 2010 fusion SE v6 with 40k miles. I want to know if this is normal or if I need to have this checked out. ( I have a full warrenty for 4 years, just have to pay 100$ co-pay if you will per visit.) On to the possible issue, I'm going to be as detailed as possible. When I swich the car into reverse, after being in drive and moveing forward, and start back up (any distance, any speed) and apply the breaks (any breaking force) the front end will make a very loud metalic POP sound. Almost sounds like its coming from both front breaks at the same time. The pop wll only happen once but happens every time. It also happens after driving in reverse (any distance and speed) and then swiching back into drive, and applying the breaks the first time you will hear the same POP but not as loud. Again, it only happens once, and from the same location. Is this a normal thing? Do the breaks have some sort of swich that toggels to make the back breaks have more stopping power in reverse and the front less, then swap back over when its in drive? Or is this just something that wrong with my breaks and I need to get them checked out? Also, other then this my breaks work great, and make no other sound of any kind.
