I have a 2009 Fusion SE with automatic transmission. When I start the vehicle and go from park into reverse without removing my foot from the brake pedal, the idle is very rough and I can feel motion in the vehicle. This does not occur when going from park to drive. The motion also is not present while in reverse and moving. Any ideas what could be wrong? A bad transmission mount?

I'm looking to install an aftermarket head unit in my 2012 SE without navigation. All of the dash kits I've found include the slot for the info screen. My new head unit will already display that information, so it is just a redundancy. Has anyone found a dash kit that abandons the stock info screen? Attached is a photo of what I've found available, as well as a stock bezel for the Navigation option which is what I'm hoping to find except with the regular non-nav control cutouts. I'd also be willing to do a swap for the stock Nav bezel. I know it's pretty involved and is not plug and play, I just haven't found information on everything that would actually need to be swapped. If I could find that info, I do have the skills to complete it. -

Hello All! New to this forum, I searched, went through about 10 pages of hits and could not find any info around this topic. The 2020 SE AWD 2.0 does not come with the LED DRL, and for some reason that makes me very mad :) I really want the LED DRL on my headlamps. I see multiple products on Ebay, but I am not one to trust random Chinese suppliers / products without a recommendation. Is it possible to switch out the OEM non-LED DRL headlamps for my Fusion model with an aftermarket or even an OEM replacement for a Hybrid or Titanium that has the LED DRL into the SE? Hello, last November I got into an accident and had to replace my left rear door, I had a shop replace the door with an OEM door I sourced from a wrecked vehicle. After it was fixed he informed me he could not get the window to roll down in the time he had it, I said I would deal with it myself. Hello, im new to this forum so please excuse my non-complete profile. Anyway, I just bought a used 2015 Ford Fusion SE with 31,000 miles. I have had no issues so far, but just today I put the key in the ignition turned it over and it didn't start right away. I let go for about three seconds and it started up after turning the key. It happened twice in one day, but every time I turn the car off and then start it back up it is fine in succession. I hope it's not the fuel pump or something costly. I just recently got the car on September 7th, at a certified Ford Dealer, and I'm concerned that there is something wrong already. Please someone end my madness!

I have a 2014 Titanium and on each door is a small red LED that lights up when I lock the car, and turns off when the car is unlocked. One of these lights are out, and I don't want to go through the hassle of removing the door panel to replace that light if I don't have to. It almost seems as if it can be popped out with a screwdriver but when I tried it did not budge. Does anyone have experience with this? I can't seem to find an answer anywhere! (In this picture its the small circle on the left top of the door)

Hey all. So I have a 2014 Fusion SE with the 1.5L and a couple weeks ago I noticed some small cracks in my paint along the driver's side towards the rear end (basically on the outside of the trunk), and I've also noticed some of the sealing or caulking coming out from under my spoiler and one of my tail lights. My driver's side taillight can now be moved a bit by just touching it. I figured at first that it was just some sort of water seal, but I'm worried it's more structural now that it's coming from my spoiler as well. I spent the winter in Chicago so I'm also wondering if the cold could've done this. I have never backed into anything, and as far as I know nobody has hit me. Does anybody know first off if this paint cracking can be fixed through warranty or if I'm gonna have to cover it, and secondly what exactly the seal/caulking is that's loose on my taillight and spoiler? I've called my nearest dealership twice and got sent to voicemail both times. I can post pictures later as well if that helps anyone get what I'm saying.

Just moved to Oahu from Japan and needed to buy two cars. We visited all of the dealers looking at their used offerings, and nothing really clicked with me until I found a 2013 Fusion SE with the 1.6L Ecoboost. I'm loving this car on perhaps one of the most picturesque daily commutes, from Ewa Beach to Kaneohe Bay. The driving conditions include stop and go traffic, gridlock, and winding mountainous 4-lane highways with no impediments at all. After one month, I'm averaging a little over 30 mpg in these conditions! Love the styling, the appointments and the fuel economy. Very comfortable car that's a blast to drive.

Hi All- I have a 2016 SE with the tech package, and I am looking to upgrade all of the speakers. Here is what I have ordered so far... Front: Infinity Reference 6500CX Component (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007SNMQDQ?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_RUD7wbZH8MTNA&tag=ds0233-20) Rear: Infinity REF-6502ix Coaxial (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00803LE2W?ref_=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_PTD7wb6A01FC4&tag=ds0233-20) Amp: Kicker CXA300.4 (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_107703_Kicker-CXA300.4-43CXA3004.html) Are there rear deck speakers in my Fusion with the tech package? If so, what size are they? I think the Infinity speakers paired with the amp will work well, I have considered exchanging them for Infinity Kappas, and a better amp; however, I think I will stick with what I ordered.

Hi All, Here's my story: Leased a brand new 2016 Ford Fusion Energi SE. Lease agreement started on February 29th, 2016. Started noticing a moldy smell inside the cabin. The smell even lingered on my clothes after getting out of the car. On March 29th, noticed excessive moisture coming up from underneath the carpeting. On March 30th, brought the car into the local Ford service center. Service center conducted a few tests to find the source of a possible leak. Could not find anything. Service center provided a loaner vehicle on/around April 4th. Service center brought in an engineer from Ford to run some more tests. Still couldn't find anything. Service center received authorization from Ford Motor Company to replace carpeting and molding inside the car. At this point, it's been approx. 3 weeks since I brought the car in (week of April 18th). Later that week, I called Ford Motor Company and expressed my opinion about their solution. If they replace the interior but still can't find a leak, we'll probably have the same issue a month later with the new interior. I reach out to Ford the following week (now the end of April), Ford advises they will review the case and get back to me within 7-10 days. They have to internally discuss whether it's better to proceed with the original solution or to buy the car back from me. After another week, Ford Motor Company agrees to buy my car back (first week of May, approximately) Service center and Ford Motor Company exchange information and misc. paperwork over the course of a few days. Ford Motor Company confirms the refund of my last monthly payment, since I was without my car for over a month at this point. Received paperwork from Ford Reacquired Vehicle Headquarters on Friday, May 13th. Contains a contract that states the following:I'm entitled to any new Ford/Lincoln of equal or greater value. I am responsible for any difference in cost between the MSRP of the old car vs. the MSRP of the new one. I'm responsible for any applicable mileage/usage charges that may apply (obviously, this doesn't apply because the car was only a month old before I brought it back to the service center) I'm responsible for tax on the vehicle upgrade amount, transfer fees, license fees, and other state-mandated fees. As of today, I'm trying to contact Ford RAV to clarify the definition of a transfer fee, license fee, and other state-mandated fees. I have 14 days to respond, or else the offer will expire. The contract is dated May 12th, so I have until May 26th to get back to them. With all that said, do you think I should be responsible for any extra fees incurred due to a buyback/vehicle exchange? Why should I have to pay any "transfer fees", "license fees", or any "other state-mandated fees"? If my brand new car didn't smell like mold, I wouldn't have any of these extra costs. Shouldn't Ford be responsible for those? Also, if I decline the replacement offer, am I entitled to a full refund? I'm not contractually obligated until I sign this contract, so I'm definitely considering other brands before I make a decision. Looking forward to any feedback. Thanks, - Jordan

I'm installing a subwoofer into my car and ran into trouble when attempting to remove the radio to splice into speaker wires. I have removed all of the trim and the two screws holding in the cover over the entire radio. I know that the cover needs to be lifted from the bottom but the cover does not pop off like it should, only the bottom half of the cover pulls away. Is there something that I am forgetting undo to remove the cover or is the cover supposed to be very difficult to remove the first time. -EDIT Found a way by just prying it off carefully hopefully will not have to take it off again

I bought it with 4000 miles on it so I'm considering it my first "new car" even though it was technically used. I'm going from Houston, Texas to Chicago, Illinois for school and have never had a winter setup on a vehicle so I'll definitely be relying on some help!

Hey guys, I'm trying to modify my bumper. I'm not really sure though if it's possible to be done so I thought I could take your opinion. As you can see in the picture I'm trying to remove the plastic underneath the grille and put a custom made grille that could cover the whole thing without that particular item. It's just an idea but im not really sure if it could happen. Let me know if you can recommend something. Thank in advance

Hello, Ive been looking through this forum for almost a year now, and I've grabbed a few ideas here and there, this is how I've managed to upgrade my car. But there is a small inconvenience, my car isn't reading the sensors on my new wheels. It keeps saying "monitor sensor fault" or something like that, and the icon keeps blinking. I also tried training the wheel sensor by hitting the blinking light button 6 times and then deflate the wheels as the monitor tells me but it keeps saying "tire not trained". If somebody can help me please with this issue, it would be very much appreciated.

I have had my 2013 Ford Fusion for less than 2 years. I have enjoyed the car very much. It has had a few issues along the way, but nothing major. Yesterday, the Electronic Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) system failed causing the car to switch to manual steering. Thankfully this did not occur while driving the highway. In doing some research, I have learned that this has been a common issue with the Fusion. And as far as I can tell, Ford has issued recalls for the 2010 - 2012 models but has yet to expand it into the 2013 - 2015 models. Thankfully the issue will be covered by warranty. But where I am most concerned is: (1) is this an epidemic, are other owners of the new fusions experiencing this same issue? and (2) if so, has ford been able to fix the issue or has their fix only be a temporary one and the issue has occurred again? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. If it helps, my Fusion is the SE model, but it is not the Hybrid, Energi, or Ecoboost models. It has the basic 2.5L engine. Thanks, dm

Hey guys! I just bought a new 2014 Ford Fusion SE. It's an amazing car! I went to the dealer asking about remote start and wanting it on a fusion. He said it was just a $100 add on through one of there suppliers. So I got it and now he said it's going to be $550 with installation. Any way did anyone receive an aftermarket remote start and is it worth it?
