I have a 2016 fusion se with cloth seats. I found a set of leather seats to swap into my car, but the power driver's seat didn't work after install. There are two connectors on the leather seat (one for heated seats?) but one matched perfectly with the car's harness. The airbag light is also on. Is there anything I can do to make this work?

I currently have the “premium” cloth seats in my 2006 Ford Fusion. I was wondering if I could put used leather seats from another Fusion or Milan (2006-2009) into my Fusion SEL without problems. The only problem I could think of is the connections with the heated seats, I wouldn’t be able to use them but I didn’t know if the connection for the heated seats on the leather seats would cause an issue with installation.

I have a 2007 Ford Fusion which I purchased new. My interior is a nightmare. The front drivers seat developed a hole while under warranty. Dealer replaced cover but it has now developed a hole in the same place. Where it is at there is no way to install a seat cover because of the side airbags so the padding is falling out. The headliner fell down in the back which the dealer also repaired. My door handle on the drivers side broke which I had to pay to repair. Now my entire dash is falling apart. All the vents have popped out. The front vent area has buckled and come completely unglued so there is a huge gap. My defrost does not work properly without the vent. There is buckling around the passenger side airbag which scares me. The same airbag has been included in the recall which makes me even more scared of it and there is no sign when that will be repaired There is also bubbles in both the door panals in the front where they appear to be coming unglued. I thought Ford was better than this. There should be a recall on the interior of these cars because I know I am not the only one out there with this problem.

I have a 2013 Fusion energi Titanium. It really bothers me that my seat moves to my position when i turn the car on then moves back when i turn the car off... I just want my seat to stay in the position i need it in the whole time unless otherwise. I feel like it constantly moving back and forth for no reason is a dumb idea. Is there a way to disable this feature?

I've had an ongoing problem (for about a year) with my front passenger seat. About 8 months ago, the noises started. When going over ripples or potholes in the pavement, either at high speed or slow, a chirping, squeaking sound comes from within the seat frame. When the manually-reclining seat back is folded forward all the way, the noise goes away. I've taken it to Ford (who couldn't duplicate the problem) and to the Classic Soft Trim shop where Ford sent it to get my Hybrid's cloth seats changed to leather. They tried to fix it (took the seat out twice and tried adding bits of foam) with no success. I've given up. I checked with Ford and they said (Ye Gods!) that a new one would cost $3,000! Well, I've checked eBay, and I've found a perfect replacement seat (for about $300). The only thing is, the replacement seat has the heated seat option. Will this make any difference if it's not connected to anything? Will my car and I go up in flames at some point in the future? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
