  1. Had this car for years, has the upgraded Sony sound system. Last year randomly the drivers side speakers started to sound slightly quieter/thinner. I’d hit a bump and it would happen, randomly would go away for awhile. It almost seemed like it happened more often when it was colder out. However, for some reason when I switched the EQ on Spotify, it stopped. I used to be able to get it to fix itself by switching to the radio, once HD radio would kick in, it would be good for awhile. It’s been months of being fine until yesterday I hit a bump and back to being a problem, but now it seems like my HD radio/Spotify EQ trick isn’t working. I can’t figure out why that would effect anything or what the problem is, but that slight difference in sound/volumn drives my absolutely nuts. anyone have this issue before or anyone have any ideas on what it is/could be? It’s driving me crazy lol
  2. Hi everyone, I have a 2010 Ford Fusion SEL V6 and for the past couple months there have been some issues with the sound system. I'm leaving on a 10 hour drive tomorrow afternoon, so I'm fairly desperate to find at least a temporary fix to the problem so I don't have to make most of the drive in silence. I'll be listening to music or talking on the phone using the Sync system, and the volume will cut out entirely. Sometimes the problem lasts for a few seconds, and sometimes it lasts for 10-20 minutes or longer. The display works just fine, and I can change the radio station, switch to CD or bluetooth, adjust the volume, or change anything else and the change will show on the display screen, but there will still not be any sound. After an undetermined amount of time, the sound will come back on and play the radio or CD displayed at the appropriate volume. I don't have the "max volume" problem that several of the other posts did, there is just no sound at all. Additionally, sometimes when the sound comes back on, there will be a 5-10 second delay between adjusting the volume and the volume actually changing, and this problem occurs regardless of whether I use the dashboard volume knob or the control on the steering wheel. Any help or suggestions in the next few hours would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
