  1. I experienced a loss of audio on the left side of the car. I replaced the two component speakers in the front left door (woofer and tweeter) with brand new speakers and am still having the same problem. The audio installer checked his work and says all his connections are secure. The audio on the left side cuts down to about 25% of what it should be. I noticed one time that it cut in and cut out when going over a large bump in the road. I noticed several other posts in this forum relating to loss of audio on the left side, but they all specifically referenced it happening only when listening to FM radio. I listen only to music on a USB thumb drive. The vehicle is a 2010 Ford Fusion SEL with I believe the moon and tunes package (speakers are all Sony). If anyone has any information regarding this issue I would be very grateful if you shared it! Thanks!
  2. I have a 2015 Ford Fusion Titanium with the Sony audio. My left rear deck speaker is blown what should i get to make sure i don’t put more power into the amp
  3. I have a 2013 fusion that I purchased as a Certified Pre-owned vehicle about a month ago with 15,000 miles on it. Since I purchased the vehicle I have taken it to my local ford dealer 5 times becasue of a rattle in the speakers/doors. the result of each visit was: 1. after i picked it up and noticed nothing was fixed i called them and they said that they couldnt find anything wrong. so I scheduled visit #2. 2. I sat in the car with the tech and they said they heard the noise so after inspection they ordered a new speaker and told me to bring it back the next day. 3. they instaled the speaker and returned the car to me claiming it was fixed but it wasnt. 3. they replaced a trim piece on the drivers door and again claimed it was fixed when it wasnt. 4. they repaced the same trim piece on the other 3 doors and yet again claimed it was fixed when it wasnt. 5. they took the door pannels off and told me they thought something had gotten between the speaker and the door pannel on the drivers side and yet again returned the car to me unfixed. what could the problem be? the dealer says they cannot find anything abnormal but the rattle is terrible and very anoying. has anyone had experience with this issue? is there anything else i need to tell the dealer to check?
  4. Hello! I am trying to add my subwoofer to my 2014 fusion se with the MFT system. I DONT have the premium sound with the rear deck lid speakers. I was gonna use a line out converter to get the signal for my amp and i was thinking that the wiring harness for the rear deck speakers would still be there but I cannot seem to locate it after pulling out the siding of the trunk. I did find a 12 pin clip that wasnt hooked up to anything and I think that that might be it. Its located almost under the rear passenger seat. does anyone know if that would be the right connector? What would the color of the speaker wires be if it is? Also if that is not the right connector does anyone know the color of the speaker wires comming out of the rear doors (not the tweeter wires)? Any help would be great!
  5. I have a 2010 Ford Fusion SEL with the 12 Sony Speaker System and I was just wondering if anyone had a wiring diagram for whole audio system in the car? I also was wondering if the system had an amplifier and if it does where is it mounted in the car? Last thing, has anyone either upgraded or modified the Sony system? Thanks
  6. Last night I had a set of Focal PS 165 component speakers installed in my front doors, powered by an JL Audio XD400/4 amplifier. The Head Unit is stock as well as the rear doors. Everything sounds great, my only issue is that when I turn off the ignition the amplifier turns off, thus cutting signal to my front speakers, only the rear speakers continue to play until the door is opened. This isn't such a big deal, but I'm wondering if anybody knows a better wire to connect the remote wire to so that the amp doesn't turn off until I open the doors like the head unit does. For reference I have a 2011 Fusion SEL with Sync and 6-speaker audio (not Sony). Thanks in advance!
  7. Hey guys just got the sound system in. This is part 3 in the vids. Be sure to check out the other parts to see the build. Don't forget to subscribe if you like what you see.
  8. Hello, everyone new to the forum because I cant find this answer anywhere...I'm having a hard time finding the specs of the audiophile amp in the 2008 ford fusion se. Besides the fact that they won't fit correctly (I'll worry about that part) does the factory amp have enough juice to power kicker 8" free air woofers 2 ohm in the rear deck? {C}http://www.crutchfield.com/p_206C82/Kic ... tml?tp=111{C} I really don't want to rewire and change any amps. I just sold off a blazer that had two amps, 2 12" punch subs, polk components..it was loud. I want something very suttle in here and I don't want to have to worry about upgrading the whole car. The other option would be the tang band free airs (which don't fit either) but I think they are 4 ohm (not sure if that will work) and would it be an upgrade? Thanks for any help you can give
