  1. Occasionally, my 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid with 23,000 miles will have a loud squeak (like the noise from the wiper motor shaft turning inside a rubber seal boot) with each stroke of the Driver's side Wiper Blade. It seems to be coming from the windshield, but I believe the noise is simply reflecting off of the windshield, because the wiper blade does not chatter on the glass. I have installed a brand new wiper blade without improving the occasional problem. I can find no reference to a similar problem by using the internet ... and of course it never happens when I'm visiting the dealership. Has anyone encountered a similar symptom .......... and knows how to fix it?
  2. Hello I have a 2007 Mercury milan base, 2.3L with around 130,000 miles. I have had a horrible noise that is similar to a squeak or creak every time I ......A) turn the wheel or when I hit bumps or pretty much drive not in a smooth straight road. The noise seems to be dramatically worse when the weather is cold ( I live in ohio) and you can always hear it very prominent outside the car and inside. I had the front struts and top rubber boots replaced last year and that seemed to help temporarily but It is another year and the sound is just as bad. The mechanic said nothing else seemed wrong at the time and the stock struts were not even bad. I had read on this forum at one point or another about something needing to be aligned with some holes in the suspension but I'm not sure. Has anyone else had this problem or any help with this. It's to the point I don't enjoy the car because people stop and stare at it when I drive it, it's kind of embarrassing! Thanks for any help or input
  3. I have a 2007 Ford Fusion SEL 2.3L I4 with 65,000 miles on it. The engine makes a squeaking/chirping sound when the engine is cold. After the engine reaches normal operating temperature as indicated on the temperature gage, the noise stops. I have kept the oil changed every 5000 miles, had the fuel system serviced, and the transmission serviced. I still get the same noise. I don't see anything abnormal on the belts or pulleys but it almost sounds like a bearing is running dry. Has anybody had a similar problem and if so what fixed it? Thanks!
