2013 Ford Fusion SE, 109605 miles, 5/8/2020 I've been having an intermittent issue with my backup assist and power steering for the last three weeks. Approximately 95% of the time it's just fine. My power steering doesn't go out completely it just gets a little harder to turn. These two issues always happen together. As of today the power steering acted up, a warning light for the backup assist, the airbag, advance track, tire monitoring, and the controlls on or around my steering wheel (i.e. stereo, cruise, wiper and blinker) were not working. Today's occurrence happened when I went to lunch at work. I arrived to work at 9:24 am and left work at 1:03 pm for lunch, I drove about a mile. Arrived to the store at 1:07 pm started my car at 1:24 pm and that's when the issue began I got back to work at 1:30 pm and parked the car. When I parked, the airbag light turned off but the rest stayed. When I left work at 6:45 pm the issues seemed to be gone again. Lastly I have no codes nor a check engine light. I do know the BCM has been replaced and I have an aftermarket plug and play remote start installed under the dash behind the OBDII port, and a brand new battery about a week old. If I notice anything else I will add it to this. The first time this happened it was a similar scenario. Went to lunch at work, got to the store no issues, issues began when I left the store. This was only the backup assist and the power steering. Then Two days later I got up for work and when I started up the car the first time that day I had the issue with the steering and backup assist. PLEASE HELP!!! (F.Y.I. these times are exact, I have a vehicle tracking system that tells me everything)

I have a 2006 Ford Fusion SEL V6 that had a standard 6 CD radio when I bought it, I recently bought a used 2006 Ford Five Hundred Ford navigation system. It works but the bass just isn't as good/loud as it was before, I turned the bass up in the sounds options but not too much changed. Also my steering wheel controls no longer work for the Ford navigation system.

Hey Folks, I have a 2006 Fusion SEL with the factory stereo/6CD changer and steering wheel controls. I am experiencing difficulties with this stereo including an extremely dim display, and several of my CDs have been scratched up, so I would like to replace it. I am not looking for anything real fancy--just a radio/CD that will have nice sound using the factory speakers. Can anyone tell me if there are aftermarket stereos which would be able to utilize the steering wheel controls? I am quite spoiled with those controls so I would prefer to find a stereo that would work with them. Any recommendations for a decent stereo (less than $125) that is highly rated and good sounding would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.
