  1. So I need to get a new set of lug nuts for my Fusion due to the fact that all of the old ones are messed up. Thanks to the idiot in Pep Boys who changed tires on my car, they're stripped. Dealership wants to charge over $130 just to get these lug nuts. Is there any recommendations on where I can find lug nuts that'll fit on my car without coming close to $100?? Please help! Man on budget here!
  2. I just changed over to winter tires on my 2013 SE 1.6 that had factory original Michelin Energy Savers, 235/50R/17. I have only 34000 km on the factory tires but the tire wear indicators show only 1/16" wear left on them which would mean 40000k and they are done. Is this typical for the OEM tires? The wear on all 4 is pretty even, and they have been rotated front to back.
  3. Hello I just joined the forum yesterday. I own a 2011 Fusion SEL and a 2007 Mazda Speed6. I have a pair of 16” wheels that fit the fusion, and was wondering if tires with a 70mm sidewall would clear in the wheel well? Found a pair of good snow tires with that size for a crazy good deal. Thanks in advance. Colin
  4. 2006 Fusion se has standard steel wheels with hubcaps. Stock hubcaps just fall of so looking to replace with aluminum or painted rims. Wondering if anyone has replaced steel wheels and if so what other ford vehicles transfer over to the 2006 16" wheels. Thank you.
  5. WTS: set of 4 oem premium aluminum alloy wheels. A search online shows they're 350+ per wheel and 110+ for the good year eagle rs-a performance tires. Two of the tires are like new and two have one season left in them. Asking 1100 OBO for the set. Prefer pickup but willing to ship for the right price. Located in NW PENNSYLVANIA. 18x7.5 5x4.5" and 44mm offset. Tires are 225/45R18
  6. Hey everyone! So I just made my first big purchase for my 2014 Ford Fusion. I bought Pegasus Lexani 20' rims for her! I've done some research around it and I figured I would also just ask some general questions for all of you who are more knowledgeable than me. 1. What are some general concerns and some things I should know with 20 inch rims on my car? 2. Any recommendations on some low-profile tires for the 20' rims? 3. I know the rim size change will affect my speedometer (I believe it will read ~5-10mph faster than what I'm actually going) Is there anyway to change that? I would appreciate some general info or anything you guys have to offer! Thanks for the help everyone, ~ Bryson Dahlin
  7. i'm aware that the manual says chains can't be used, but i'm wondering if anyone has found something that does? While this fits the tire: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004BTFPDS/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I10KYM900XUZ48&colid=2BM94H5Z8HFPH I'm unsure if it will hit the body? TIA, Jim
  8. Mounted and balanced, comes with center caps, lugnuts, and tpms sensors installed. These were my summer set for my recently wrecked 2014 Fusion hybrid. The wheels are in pristine condition and the tires have about 15k on them. This set looked incredible on my gray Fusion! 5x108 lug pattern. 18" by 8" wide. Looking for $800 but I'm open to offers. Feel free to ask any questions.
  9. Hi everyone, I am looking at FINALLY putting some winter wheels on my 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium. I currently have the 19" rims on. I am looking on craigslist and found the following and was wondering if they would work? Wheel size is 15" X 7". Dual bolt pattern 5 X 108 mm (5 X 4.25"), or 5 X 114.3 (5 X 4.5"). Offset is 35 mm, which is 5.25" backspacing. They come with winter tires as well, which are Hankook Winter Pike. 215/60R-15. All 4 for $100, which seems like a steal. The guy listed them as dinged up with some scratches but what do I care for winter. Let me know what you think! Thanks!
  10. New Member- I am in need of a set of new tires very soon. My car has about 50,000 miles, since i bout it used (39,000 mile) I don't know if these are original tires or not. I'm not well educated on tires, other than threads and minimal amount of research I have recently done. Right now I'm on Goodyear RSA's 225/45/18 and they are absolutely terrible in wet conditions. Mind you they have more than a few miles on them , but a recent drive from New Orleans to Houston in a downpour was terrifying. I also had an issue on the highway making a quick maneuver at about 85 to avoid and incident in dry warm conditions and felt like I could have lost control of my car and ended up on the side of the road. Not sure if that was poor performance on the tire or if my tires are just worn. So here is what I'm looking for in a tire. First off I live in Houston, where it almost never snows and rains is common. My next tire doesn't need to excel in snow performance. I would prefer something a little "sporty" and fun to drive to help bring out maximum potential of my V6.( fyi i am considering the Steeda tune pkg with intake but that's another thread which i will be posting today as well) I don't drive my car hard often but when i do i want to enjoy it. That being said performance in rain/ wet conditions is important to me as i have been in accidents due to hydroplaning and prefer to never experience that again. I also don't want to spend an crazy amount of money. I'm hoping to keep it under $700. Please chime in with your opinions, suggestions, and advice. Oh and will the tire pressure sensor need to be replaced as well, or is that something that is commonly done at the installer or is it installed on the wheel. How does that work?
  11. Hello I am a new owner of a 2009 ford fusion sel I am looking to purchase new all season tires for the vechile. I live in the Chicagoland area so we get a ton of snow and ice and I wanted recommendations for what all season tires would be my best best?
  12. Hi, I recently purchased a 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium w/19" rims. I live in Buffalo NY and winter is quickly approaching. I was looking at putting on a set of 'winter rims' and tires. I looked up the bolt pattern and it specifies as a 5x108. I typed this into craigslist and found a set of 4-16" rims with a 5x108 bolt pattern off of a 98 Ford Taurus. It states that the rims are OEM of that car. Does anyone know if these will work? I know close to nothing about cars so I hope that i have given sufficient information. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!
  13. Hey guys, this is the first time I've posted here, so hopefully I'm doing this right. So I love these rims, but they're 19" by 8.5. I absolutely love the pattern, but I can't find any with the right size tire to compensate for the much bigger rim. I really don't want to go buy the rims and then pay another 800 for tires. I find these on craigslist, and for 600 with the tires already on them with very low miles. The reason I'm saying all of this is because I don't want to have that big of a rim on my car. I think it looks really cool in pictures and when I see it pass by me on the street, but its just not something I would have on my personal car. In addition to that, Id prefer to keep the speedometer as close to as it is now as possible. So my question to everyone is, have you seen or know of any rims that look like these do, but in 18" rather than 19? An 18" wheel with the right tire will be a lot easier to work with for the speedometer and odometer. Thanks guys
  14. 2012 Ford Fusion Sport FWD, 50k miles - still driving OEM Goodyear RS-As, 225/45R18 Would like to upgrade my tires, and read good things about the following - looking for any/all input. Not looking for a racing tire here, just something with good handling & decent winter performance (live in NJ). Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Season (~$150/tire) - ranked #3 on TireRack survey of UHP A/S tires, but I don't like my RS-As... Cooper Zeon RS3-A (~$150/tire) - good reviews where I could find them on the net, though tough given they're not sold on TireRack. I've had Coopers on my '05 Escape in the past, and was satisfied. Seems like a 'bang-for-your-buck' contender. Continental ExtremeContact DWS (~$175/tire) - ranked #1 on TireRack survey of UHP A/S tires, seems to be a very good A/S tire for winter, but lacks the comfort ratings of the GY Eagle Sports (according to TireRack results). Also pricier. Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 (H/V) - (~$175/tire) - technically a HP tire it seems, a bit pricier but very strong reviews, the W/Y speed rated models ranked low on TR survey results of UHP tires, including poor winter performance Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS Pole Position (~$155/tire) - low TireRack ranking & poor winter performance, but others on fusion forums have high praises. 15. I am in need of replacing my original tires which were 235/45R18 94V Goodyear Eagle LS2 tires from the factory. I am wondering if there is some other tire out there I should look into buying instead? or if these are good enough tires for the price and will definitely keep me going?
  16. Hello, I have 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium AWD with 19" H-Spoke Wheels, i need to buy winter tires for my car because the stopping distance is bad with the current tires in snow/ice in ontario. I have "ContiPro Tires" 235/40R19. When I went to local Ford Dealership for recommending me winter tires, they gave me this option "Uniroyal Tiger Paw Ice and Snow II" with Tire Size "215/60R16". Now, I wanted Either Hancook or Michelin Winter Tires, but they don't have in stock. So I went to Canadian Tire, and they do have tires in stock with that size "215/60R16". But I am worried that going from 235/40R19 to 215/60R16 is a great jump, and Will there be any issue with that or not, i can't figure it out. So Can anyone advice me with that or give me more option what to do? Also for FYI, I can't find good winter tires with this size 235/40R19, so i am wiling to go to 17", if its possible. Thanks,
