  1. So as the title says, my driver's side rear window auto up doesn't always work on my 2017 Fusion Titanium. I can do the relearn and auto up will work until I roll the window down more than halfway to which point I need to do the relearn again. Note that auto down always works. It's quite an odd behavior. I figured it has to be something with a position sensor (or however it knows what spot the window is at). During my research someone had said on another forum to pull power to the window while manually operating it to reset the regulator control module, but that didn't help. It's not triggering any sort of pinch detection so I find it odd that it's just that window and just auto up. I figured I would reach out and see what others think, possibly a bad window regulator assembly?
  2. Anybody else have an issue with wind noise being excessive from the passenger door? I also have a problem with the door opening hard due to the rubber seal sneaking it's way out of the channel and causing interference between front and rear door of passenger side. I have 2013 Fusion SE with Appearance Package and 2.0L EcoBoost
  3. Does anyone have advice on removing the Ford factory window wind deflectors on my 2012 Fusion SE? They are mounted on the onside body with an adhesive, so I need something to dissolve that stuff that won't hurt the paint. One of mine flew off on the highway, and another got broken. I need to remove them in order to install new Weathertech wind deflectors that fit in the windows channels and are not glued on. Thanks in advance for any input.
  4. 2017 MKZ/Fusion/Continental – Window Bounce Back And/Or Loss Of Window One-Touch Up Functionality Some 2017 MKZ, Fusion, and Continental vehicles may exhibit window bounce back when using the one-touch feature and/or a loss of window one-touch up functionality. Perform the Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) power door window initialization procedure. The learn procedure is available on IDS software version 103.05 or later. Access to this IDS learn procedure is available under Toolbox / Body /Power Window Initialization. No additional repairs should be attempted if this does not resolve the concern. Engineering is aware and is currently investigating. Monitor OASIS for future updates.
  5. Tried to do a search and it came up with nothing -- looking to repaint my chrome window molding to black and don't really know what I'm getting into. As far as paint, a friend suggested Dupli Color "Shadow" -- will keep the chrome look but make it a lot darker. Anyone ever used this? If I like it the next step would be using it on the fog light/front grille trim to finish blacking out the car. Any suggestions appreciated...not sure I even know how to remove the molding but it shouldn't be more than a few screws. Thanks
  6. Hello everyone... I have 2010 Ford Fusion 3.0; in my car, only the driver window have "one touch"... I found a module that "give" one touch for all windows and global close/open... This module even have pinch protection for all windows... This would be great for me.. The problem is... This module is designed for Edge... :-( But looking in internet I see the switch plug from Edge and Fusion are the same... So I buy it... Now when I compare the plug wiring this is a bit different... So, I did if I re-wiring this module plug, this should work with my fusion... The Edge have the same Fusion windows... Just one touch in driver door... Someone can help me? With windows switch diagram? With this I will re-wiring the module connector and have pinch protection in all windows... Thanks for all...
  7. my driver side window when I pull it up on auto it stops automatically (trap feature safety) as if I have my hand trapped In it but actually there is nothing there..i wonder why ..can any one tell me what to do please?? other than going gto the dealer (home own work) I know how to do it just don't know what to do..
  8. Hi, I have a 2007 ford fusion. My front driver's side window got stuck in the down position. It only gets stuck when the window goes all the way down. Other then that it will go up and down. Whats wrong? Thanks for the help
  9. Hello all, I've got some electrical issues going on (at least I think that's what it is) and I'm hoping someone can help me diagnosis the problem a little more. So my rear right passenger window will sometimes work...most of the time it won't though. Everything sounds fine when it is working and it'll go up/down fine, which leads me to believe that it's not the window motor or regulator. But here's what's throwing me off: I'll use the drivers windows switch to roll down the back window and sometimes it'll work, but then if I wait a little while (anywhere from seconds to several minutes) the window seizes to work. No noises, movement, just nothing. The only way to get it going again is to try the back window switch and hopefully it'll get it moving again. If it doesn't, then I just have to alternate switches until one of them does something... Okay, to sum things up- Is this a problem with the window switch and if it is, which switch would it likely be? OR is it something that sounds like a more involved electrical issue? I really appreciate any feedback/help!!
  10. Just picked up a 2012 SEL and noticed the rear windows go up very slow. They start upward, almost stop halfway, then shut. The motors just sound very weak. Both are slow, but the driver side is the worst. Thought of taking it to the dealer but I really dont want my doors torn apart. Anyone else with this issue?
  11. The front passanger window has quit working. When I press the switch on either side, I can hear the motor working, but it wont go up. It happend once before and got stuck down temporarily. After waiting a while I tried again and it did eventually go back up. I had not used it at all knowing that there was an issue. Got an LOF today and the mechanic put it down and now it will not go back up. Not sure if I should be looking to replace the motor, regulator, or switch. Appreciate any thoughts.
