I found a nice set of 18x9.5 rims I really like will this fit on my 2012 Fusion SEL FWD

Hi FinallyFusion.  To determine fitment, you also need to know the lug spacing, offset and centerhub size.

This post has been moved to a more appropriate section of the forums.  If you search through the  posts here, you'll find plenty of discussion about fitting aftermarket/larger wheels/tires.  However, as stated by bbf2530 above, you must know the particulars of the wheels you're contemplating.

It’s the right lug spacing but I don’t think I saw an offset would that mean it’s a standard offset

Hi Finallyfusion.  No, the fact there was no offset listed/shown does not mean they are "standard offset". The term "standard offset" means nothing in relation to what someone needs for their particular car. You need to be sure the offset of any wheel is suitable for your particular car.

A wheel can "fit" but not look good.  Too much negative offset and the wheel/tire will stick out too far and possibly rub the fenders.  Too much positive offset and the wheel/tire will be tucked into the fenders too far, and possibly interfere with the brakes/suspension. Either way, not a good fit or look.

Also, you mention nothing about the center bore. If the center bore is too small, the wheel will not fit at all.  If it's too large, you will need hubrings (some people use them, I prefer a proper fit out of the box). If memory serves me correctly, the center bore size of 2006-2012 Fusion/Milan/MKZ is 67.1mm.

If you purchase a wheel without knowing all the specifications, just be sure it can be returned if it does not fit properly.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Do you have a link to the wheels in question?  That should should show the specs for the wheels and end all the speculation.

If you bought the wheels already, the offset and width should be stamped on the back.  Bolt pattern may be there as well and center bore size would have to be measured exactly.

See here for more info.

As you can see, there's a lot more to this than just throwing a set of wheels onto a car.

Car.ID has a really good website that allows you to view all rims, in whatever size you want, that are a guaranteed fit to your car. You just enter in your car, the year and the submodel and you can view every single modification that is a guarantee fit for it, I actually ordered my 20's from there and I haven't had a problem. They also allow you to buy tires with the rims if wanted and/or give the specs of tires that you're going to want to get so the wheel dimensions are the recommended amount.

Hi FinallyFusion.  Probably best to contact PIAA and ask them for the full wheel specs.

They’ve sold out this point anyways. My main concern was the 9.5 width but seeing how i hadn’t thought about bore or off set gives me a lot more to think about
