Hybrid Platinum vs Hybrid Titanium (Quiet and Comfortable)

Looking at the 2018 Fusion Hybrids and trying to decide between the Platinum, which are rather scarce on the lots, and the Titanium.  Is there any significant difference in the ride comfort and how quiet the car is between these two models?  Unfortunately, for me to drive the Platinum, I will need to drive several hours, and would rather know ahead of time what to expect, or if it's really even necessary.

Thanks!

Hi Sonnie.  No, there are no significant differences in ride comfort and quietness. It really comes down to standard equipment, options, trim differences and pricing. You can research all the equipment and trim differences on the Ford.com website.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

Thanks for clarifying.  I wasn't sure if the extra padded leather made any difference or not.  While I like the interior of the Platinum... I am not crazy about the front mesh grille. I can get the Titanium with the driver assist package, ventilated seats and nav... and pretty much have all the same options shy of the adaptive cruise control and maybe a couple of other minor features... and save $2500.  And because there seem to be more of them available, dealers are discounting the Titaniums a little more than the Platinum.

Adaptive Cruise Control is a great thing to have as you can pretty much set it and forget it. It’s made me more patient on the road. Some of the other safety packages are very much worth it even though they are more expensive than I believe necessary. My ‘15 FFH SE came with nearly everything available that year and I appreciate each of them. They’ll negotiate.Be patient. Enjoy your ride when you get it as it’s an excellent car.
