FusedOut7
Hello. I purchased a 2013 Ford Fusion last week and I am having a hard time finding the settings to my remote start. I read that you go to “convenience” on the dashboard but I don’t have that option. Any ideas?

Any ideas? Hi and welcome FusedOut. Sorry, I''m not familiar enough with the settings in a 2013 Fusion to tell you what you need to do. However, until someone more familiar with your 2013 Fusion jumps in...Did you get the Owners Manual with your car? If you did, the quickest way to learn about it would be to look it over. If you did not receive it, you can download a PDF version here: https://www.fleet.ford.com/partsandservice/owner-manuals/ Trust us, it will come in handy. Keep us updated and good luck.
bangster
Is it the OEM remote start (a dedicated button on the remote), or dealer installed or aftermarket remote start (three presses of...lock I think)? Do you have to use a key or do you have the Intelligent Access key and push button start? It should be in Settings->Vehicle below the oil life reset if I remember correctly if it is OEM/Factory remote start.
drolds1
What model do you have? RMST was standard on Titanium; optional on S and SE. Are you sure yours even has it?
FusedOut7
It has it for sure, it works fine. Just can’t find the settings. I have the SE model. Thanks for your reply!

Not sure if that helps or not. Thanks for your reply

bangster
Either the bi-directional Or not do not have an easy to access programming mode, it is not in the cluster easy to set. You have to find the remote start module and toggle through the options, it isn't well documented and each vehicle seems slightly different. What is it that you want to change? Duration? Climate Controls? I don't think you will get this display:

I am trying to change the auto climate settings to start out with whatever I last left it on instead of adjusting to the outside temp. Plus I just like to mess with settings and it’s driving me crazy that I can’t find it. Maybe I’ll have to drive to a ford dealer. Thanks for your reply, you are all so helpful.
