Hi jhayes.  If no one else jumps in with an answer, I would recommend going to your local Ford Dealers Parts Department and asking them.  They will have far more information than an auto parts store.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Ok thank you for the reply. I will have to see where the nearest one is to me there arent really many new car dealers or anything where I live but I think there are about 30 miles away or so. I've got some screws that will fit in the whole and are the 5.5mm but they are different threads I think. I just don't want to mess anything up with them.

Too bad this wasn't posted a few days ago. The local you pull it junk yard got in a few gen 1.5 and a couple gen 1 Fusions, and I checked them out. One had the dash cut out so I checked it, and was going to check that out, but it was 95 degrees and since I didn't find anything I wanted, I bailed.

Having done quite a few BDAs in Fords, they are generally the 2 step thread into plastic with the hex and phillips screw driver head, 5.5 or 6mm. I have left overs from some cars because I usually slot the BDA and use a different screw for the one that is hard to get to, and slip in the BDA and secure it with one screw.

Hi jhayes. Since there are no Ford or Lincoln Dealers within a convenient distance, you can always try calling the Parts Department and explaining what you need. I have a lot of Lincoln and Ford Dealers in my area, so tend to recommend stopping by, since I find some staff are more willing to help a face to face customer, versus a voice on the phone.

You can also try bangster's recommendation if you have any salvage yards around you.

Let us know how you make out and good luck.

Thank you both for the replies I think I will go and try a salvage yard, we have a couple of those and I know one of them is not even a mile from here. I seen several cars that looked just like mine sitting out there so maybe they can help me out.
