dkhntr20
I am looking to find out if the 8" audio/nav/climate control package from a 2013 Fusion would plug straight in to replace the 4" audio/climate control package in my 2015 Fusion? Thanks for any help.

Hopefully one of our electronics experts will jump in with more precise information. Good luck.
dkhntr20
Thank you bbf2530. If there is serious programming required would help me to decide if I should buy the unit or not.

dkhntr20
Thanks for the great information, so this is what I am looking at, its a totaled car, he is asking $180 for screen, climate control, plastic face. Looks like Ill have to swap some pins around, does this seem like a good deal or a no?
bbf2530
Hi dkhntr20. Have you seen this unit in person or only in photos? If you look at the photo, you can see broken glass all over the place, the passenger side footwell is filled with water, the face plate looks like it has been exposed to rain/water, there is water damaged cardboard covering the top of the dash in a vain attempt to protect it etc. It looks as though the windshield was smashed, the unit has been exposed to the weather and it is very likely water damaged. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. Edited May 17, 2020 by bbf2530
Multitask
$180 is a VERY good price, but buyer beware!!!! Usually the screen and APIM are about 4-500, the ACM (face) is over 100 (and is rare) , I can tell you that you will hate the face, they are not buttons like normal, they are 'touch' buttons... If they can, make sure the unit was not exposed to the water (maybe the heater exploded?) and power it on.... a LOT of red flags here... ?
