New owner of a reliable car ?

I recently bought my 2007 Fusion. On the same day I subscribed and joined this forum to get tips and documentation on the maintenance of the Fusion. Comparing with other car forums I am subscribed, there is not much said about the Fusion. Maybe the Fusion is still a young car, and intense repairs or maintenance have yet to come across.

I kind of like to think the Fusion is so reliable, there is no history of recurrent fixes or repairs due as a consequence of bad design! :headspin:

Take a look at true delta info. You would like to think that the fusion is reliable. We would all like to seeing that we own them. That being the case the answer to your question would be in favor of the fusion being a reliable car. My case is different. My new 2010 fusion with less than 1000 miles has been at the dealer for 15 days waiting for a new transmission.

Thanks for the mention.

Unfortunately, this experience is possible with any car, the odds just vary.

Posted today: why Ford is winning in reliability, including a few references to the Fusion.

As I commented on that article itself yesterday, it's arguments don't make sense. Not the Ford isn't improving quality. But the reasons this article gives wouldn't explain why this improvement started back in 2005 or so.
