hi everyone, not sure if this is the right spot to post this question, but i have a concern. i just recently bought a 06 ford fusion, and notice a sound when i first start up the car and turn the ac on, its allmost like a bubbleing sound, it goes away and dosent happen again during the ride. only when the car is off for a while and its hot outside. is this a major concern, or just the ac just acting normal to the conditions. is it normal for the ac to make a noise of some sort when you first start the car and turn the ac on right away. it only last seconds, and goes away. it sounds weird, allmost like a bubbling roaring sound not to loud and no vibration. thank you so much for any tips or help

Does it sound like someone dumped water across your windshield and you hear the water running down? If so it is just your coolant running through the lines. My car does that form time-to-time and it is a normal sound/noise, it is nothing to worry about.

If you read this thread, you'll find this noise is quite common with the Fusion.

So this noise is okay, and I know this is off topic but does the power steering bubble with the car on, I know it did with my old car.. 95 maxima.. but it doesn't on this one, this is normal right? Cause when I sometime cut the wheel all the way left I hear a noise. Like a medium roaring sound

Without hearing the exact noise, it's hard to say over the internet. The "medium roar" could be a combination of things...pavement surface, tire tread, and how fast you're turning the wheel. Does it make the noise only on asphalt? Only on concrete? It could also be the sign of a wheel bearing beginning to go bad (more of a roar-noise; obviously not a 'bubble' noise).

Okay yeah not sure if my bubble noise is the same as everyone, because it only happens when I first put the AC on, its early like when I put the car on then put the AC on then it doesn't come bck, but I wonder if it just does that because the engine been sitting all

Night and the noise could just be the AC coming on along with the fan, I also have that plastic cover under my car hanging just in one spot and bounces around while driving, I need to find out what to do with that, like what screw I can use, it's only in one spot, and all you hear is tap tap tap while driving. Any suggestions

Okay I'm going to the shop today to check on this noise, I'm very concerned that it could be something major, but I trust in God. I realize that it only makes the noise with the AC on. And I hear it when I'm driving, and come to a stop, then accelerate. And its right when you accelerate is when you hear the bubble type noise then it goes away till you come to a stop again. I'm hoping its a 4 cylinder thing and nothing major,
