rizz8636
I just picked up my new 2012 Fusion Sport AWD yesterday and it's equipped with the factory remote start. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to have the heated seats (preferably just the driver's) activated when using the remote starter? I appreciate any help in advance! Thanks!
6SpeedJunkie
It's actually temperature sensitive although ford never released at what temperature they turn on. Just at cold temperatures.
FusionDiffusion
It's actually temperature sensitive although ford never released at what temperature they turn on. Just at cold temperatures. I don't think so. Mine don't turn on unless I push the button. You would have to devise a time delay circuit and hook it into the heated seat button so that it would turn the seat on a few seconds after starting the car.
6SpeedJunkie
If it's a factory installed remote start, they do have an ambient temperature sensor that will have the heat settings come on in cold weather and cold settings come on in hot weather. Unfortunately, that's not an option for the fusion's yet. Apparently you can only get the remote start as an accessory on the fusion. My bad.
