Husky Liners

Just purchased as set of Husky Liners for my ’10 SEL, specifically:

Husky Liners 98361 Weatherbeater Flr Liner Set Sold by: Autoshepherd, LLC (via Amazon)

Here’s a little feedback, since I saw earlier posts for various mats and liners.

I’ve always hated dragging snow and salt onto my nice carpeted mats over the years. Liners seem to be a good option, especially now that the grandkids are jumping into the back seat.

I purchased Husky because a previous post mentioned the driver’s side liner covers higher than the Weather Tech brand.

The Huskys do cover the dead pedal very nicely - this area typically gets a lot of wear and dirt.

I bought black rather than tan. Black compliments the tan rugs and seats very nicely.

They fit great. I let them warm up, lying flat over night before I installed them. I have not noticed a problem with the driver’s side edge as a previous poster mentioned. Seems very tight.

The rear liners cover over the hump, protecting that high traffic area – again the kids jumping in an out!

My only disappointment so far is with the liner material itself. I’ve had factory “premium” mats in other cars and trucks, and these are a nice heavy rubber mat. The Husky Liners are more of a thin molded hard plastic – hard to the touch, and noisy with certain shoes. I guess they have to be more of a stiff shell by design.

I plan on swapping back to the carpet mats in the Spring. It’s almost February in New England and virtually no snow this season!
