CasperCobra
I decided to throw on some Steeda springs on my 2011 Fusion Sport. I also added some smoked front bumper lights. Day I bought it: Threw on the 2000 Cobra R rims I have for my Cobra to see how it'd look: Waaaaay too wide to run: Stockers back on and a quick wash:
philphil
She's tough looking! I really like the back view with the cobra R's on it.
CasperCobra
I really like the back view with the cobra R's on it. Yea, I saw that and was like "dayum" that looks sick!!! 285s would have no problem clearing the rear wheel wells, but it'd look really dumb on a fwd vehicle.
philphil
What's the drop on the springs?
CasperCobra
What's the drop on the springs? I'll get "after" measurements tonight. I wanted to give it time to settle. From the eye/finger judging it looks like a 2" drop.
philphil
Cool! Maybe i'll go this route instead of eibach.

PublicHair
Those clear side markers relly made the front end look a lot better! Depo or klearz? I got depo clears on order (they make smoke too) for $38 shipped. Klearz wanted $100!
philphil
That's pretty good gap in price! I think I will look into the depos myself.
CasperCobra
Can't remember where I got the smoked front markers, but they were abotu $38 for the pair. My suggestion when installing is do NOT go through the wheel well. Lift the front end of the car and take out the retaining screws from the front bumper air dam. Makes removal/install so much easier.
PublicHair
It's a pain to get there, I know. I just retrofitted my headlights with HID projectors. And threw HID bulbs into the fogs. I need to remove the front bumper one last time to re-aim my fog lights up just a little bit. At that time, I'll replace the side markers. Otherwise as stated, lift the front end of the car up. However, use jack stands!! Would be a bad day if the fluid leaks out of your jack and you have the front end of your car humping you. And if they were about $40 for the side markers..yep those be the Depo. Ebay!

Jackstands or car ramps work well. The most difficult in installing the smoked side markers is getting the fog light bezel out. I unlatched 3 out of the 4 tabs and pulled the bezel out, the tabs were intact thank goodness. Philphil, stock springs measured 28" to top of wheel fender, after Steeda springs it measured 26" so it was 1 3/4" all way round.
philphil
Not bad, it looks lower than that. I wish ford would've keep it simple to change lights and bulbs like on the sn95s.
