Fusionpursuit
I was doing business and I was able to get the 2015 base SE Charger to just check it out, I have some interest in possibly getting a Scat Pack R/T further down the road. My fusion has performance suspension mods, and is a narrower car, but the 15 did not seem floaty like the 11 5 speed challenger I rented years ago, it had a lot going for a the base model. I was quite surprised that Dodge has really added more standard features to the base SE model. leather wrapped steering wheel, leather center console, leather door arm rests. the only option added to this was the popular equipment package ($595) just adds remote start/sirius/park sensors. It is wider and longer, but driving it felt like a smaller car. The 8 speed transmission is very smooth and I liked the smooth pick up feel when parking the car as well. The park assist thing was interesting, exact same effect as my fusion, the sounds, the sensitivity, but since the base model does not come with a rear view camera like mine, it did actually have a display in the gauge panel with the car and color bars, they would move closer to the car from certain angles showing that you were getting close to an object. It did of course have the current mpg that I miss out on with the fusion. But I went into the menu settings and found all these neat things, you can customize what you want on each corner or the center of the lcd center display of the gauge cluster. the menu pages were mind blowing for a base model, I know they all talk all about the performance pages that are on SRT/Hellcat etc. but this was able to give me a gauge display of avg mpg/current mpg/battery voltage/oil pressure/oil temp/transmission temp/ and a diagram of the car showing each current Tire Psi. I set it to prefer center to show digital speedometer, top with current mpg rate, and opted the gear selection to display just the gear and also it would provide me current gear it was shifting into during drive. Dual climate control was also standard The day time running LED headlight borders are nice touch and are not pixelated. and the rear tail light border display is no longer pixelated like the previous 14 model Edited March 13, 2015 by Fusionpursuit
