Oh ok thanx, I hope they make some improvements, like LED lights, better materials inside, my 2011 SEL Luxury Edition has better material inside than the present. Thinner pillars for better front and review lookout. And better SYNC, I don't have it in my 2011 but I've rented many with it and it's annoying. The older way is more straighter forward and no need to go through menus upon menus. FORD CAN YOU HEAR ME??? But my next car won't be a sedan. I love SUVs, so maybe Edge which I read got really good reviews even by Consumer Reports.

Just searched and there are so called spy photos of 2017, just what I thought it would look like.

The material in my 2013 titanium is light years better than my 2006 sel and I dont think the 2011s were that much better.

Of course there's a difference than the 2006 and 2010 redesign, I ordered the luxury version which is all black inside, everything and upgraded trims, it was $30k CAD. The console plastic is matted and better quality then the shiny cheap one in the 2013. The cheap material around the steering wheel and the plastic around the buttons is worse then my 2011. The leather around my steering wheel feels like real leather not some cheap crap. And there's more leg, thigh room in my 2011. I've rented the 2013 Titanium many times. And for some reason I feel safer in my 2011. Getting into parking parking spots is easier. The only thing going for the 2013 is the styling and more airy, light. For some reason I wasn't swayed by the 2013. I want to rent the new Edge.

The new ones are not cheap at all. Yours may have better materials - never sat in one myself - but the new Titaniums are most certainly not cheap. You're confusing your personal preference with quality. E.g. I find the piano black trim on the console to be high quality but you hate it.

Thinner pillars for better front and review lookout.

Those are a thing of the past. Due to the ever growing safety standards you will very likely never see thin pillars again.

My personal opinion is that the safety standards have gotten a bit out of control. I blame SUV drivers for it. SUVs are "so safe" because they kill everyone else. Cars as a result, need to be over-engineered to account for SUV's needless excess...... B)

Thick pillars but it should be made where it doen't restrict the driver view, I test drove the new Honda Accord and it has good views and many other cars.

I prefer SUVs for two reasons, I like to be seated higher up so I have a better view of the road ahead and I'm 6ft, so easier to get in and out of the car.

And the Titanium without the drive assist etc comes out to $40k with tax here in Canada, most likely $35 over there in the US. If I were to spend 40k it won't be on a Ford, that's for sure.

I had a neighbour tell me he spent $68k on a Dodge Charger ST or something like that, I said, WTF?? on a Dodge???? I told me he could of bought a Mercedes or more reliable and better made car for that price. Dodge is junk

I agree with you that Dodge is not great quality, but Mercedes is AWFUL! A coworker of mine traded in a Mercedes after 2 years of owning it in favor of a Subaru because his Mercedes was in the shop more than it was on the street.

I guess my Fusion is not bad after all, 4 years old and never had to take in to the shop (knock on wood), except once for the electrical switch airbag underneath seat which was moved somehow and caused the airbag sign to go on. But other than that not a problem.
