yosarian9
RH fender is dented so I'm replacing. I've removed the front bumper cover before and the fender seems easy enough even tho I didn't give it a detailed look at the time. My 1st question comes when getting to the rocker panels / side skirts. Does anyone know if they need to come off first or at all? Also, I'm assuming a fender from a s/se/sel won't work on the sport, correct assumption? On my car I'll be replacing the RH fender and bumper cover (possibly buying a bare new one and swapping my bottom grill and fog lights/housings in. Anyone done that either and have some tips or a PDF? Long time reader, first time poster. -Yosarian
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
Seems the fenders are the same for all trim levels. https://secure.revolutionparts.com/levittown-ford/ford/fusion/ae5z16005a/2010-year/se-trim/3-0l-v6-flex-engine/body-cat/fender-and-components-scat/?part_name=fender&position=right The caveat being that sometimes Ford will use the same part number but the actual item will be somewhat different. BUT the same part number is not listed separately per trim level, so there is hope.
yosarian9
Yes, I experienced the same part # issue when getting my chrome three piece grill bottom bar and they requested the vin # An option is to pull the fender(I vaguely know how) and side skirt(no idea how) off my car so I have something to compare to when I head to the salvage yard but my cars my daily and I'd rather not ride w/o the fender. Lol. Thank you for the reply
