PianoMan55
I installed a 10" Rockford-Fosgate sub with an 1100W Boss amp in my 2015 Fusion SE. I want to upgrade the door speakers, but there are so many choices. Any suggestions as to the best speakers for the money? Willing to spend $200 to upgrade. Walmart Online has many brands of sets if 4 speakers, but considering I am a musician and audiophile, I am fairly picky about sound. I like to hear AND feel the music. If I listen to Van Halen, I want to feel the speakers hit me, but not blow my eardrums out.
Mike the Tile Guy
I was in the same boat. I am using Focals in one of my cars. They were $600. I found them overseas for $300. They sound amazing. If you put good speakers in your car, you won't even be bothered about how much you spent. If you put cheap ones that distort, you'll be regretting the purchase the entire time and eventually have to rip them out and start over and buy the more expensive ones the next time around. Why not just skip that 1st process and go straight to the good speakers and be done with it? I no longer look for cheap stuff. Just show me the best. If I can't afford it, I will just wait up longer to save more money. Not a big deal. If you can make $200, you can make $400. If you make $400, you can make $800. It's only money. You can always make more!! You just have to learn patience.

PianoMan55
I ended up at Car Toys and came out with Alpine S-S65C. The pair was on sale, reg. 169.99- sale 119.99, and by buying the second pair it was half price, 59.99. I purchased an Alpine amp MRV-F300 75W RMSX4. If you are familiar with this, do you think it was a good choice? Just your opinion, and I know everyone is different, Have not had time to install them yet.
