Fusor
Anyone know what product is recommended for polishing the chrome window trim? I have a little bit of tarnish on mine and would like to clean it up, but I don't know much about it. Is it even real chrome? Chrome plated plastic? Car is a 2016 Fusion Luxury SE Thanks!

The chrome window trim is chromed plastic. Generally speaking, it should not "tarnish" unless there is some sort of damage to the finish. If the finish is not damaged, it should clean up with a good car wash soap and then polish and wax with any good automotive polish and wax. In other words, treat it the same as you would your paint. I prefer Mequiar's Cleaner/Wax for this sort of trim cleaning job, but there are many good brands/products out there. Let us know how you make out and good luck.
eGuru
What bbf2530 said and don't use any product that labels itself as a chrome cleaner or tarnish remover as it will definitely dull the finish. A microfiber cloth and automotive wax should be all that is required along with some "elbow grease '. Fusor
Tried the cleaner wax but it didn't do much , then I tried using Meguiars "Water Spot Remover & Multisurface Polish" with amazing results -- chrome so shiny it looks like a mirror now!
bangster
I am glad the trim on my 2012 Sport is metal. It isn't super shiny, but I wouldn't want it to be. It looks like stainless versus chrome, but I guess a low grade stainless as it is magnetic.
