Kiy
I have a Ford Fusion 2008, when ever I drive it in warm weather it starts to make a rubbing sound. This never happens in the winter only in the spring and summer. Every time I turn, drive, turn the steering wheel, drive normally and even when I get out the car it make that noise a little. bbf2530
Hi Kiy. Moving your thread to the "Brakes, Chassis & Suspension" sub-forum, where it will hopefully get more appropriate attention. More information would help. Does the sound seem to be coming from the front or rear? Left side or right? On your audio, it sounds more like rattling or clunking sounds than rubbing. It could be worn struts, control arms/ball joints, sway bar links, etc, etc. Accurate blind diagnosis over the Internet is difficult at best. If you have a shop you trust, just stop by and ask them to check it. Or make an appointment to have them check it. Most independent shop do not charge for this service. If you do not have a trusted shop, ask family and friends for a recommendation. Obviously, there is also the Service Department at your Ford Dealer. Keep us updated and good luck. bbf2530
Just now, Kiy said: It sounds like it’s from the left side front Hi Kiy. Then any (or more than one) of the culprits I mentioned above could be among the possible cause/causes.
