SiriusXM offer.

Hi gang. For those who are coming close to an expired Sirius radio subscription or have cancelled due to the high renewal price: SiriusXM is currently running a special of $5 a month for 12 months, plus a free Amazon Echo Dot. My current subscription was expiring in January, so I just renewed for the promotional offer. Comes to about $77 a year with tax/fees.

Take a look here: SiriusXM - Stream or Listen to Music, Entertainment, Sports & More

The offer is towards the top left of the screen.

Good luck. ?

Thanks, that's a pretty good deal. My 2010 Fusion came with SiriusXM so I wasn't sure if the dealer gave me a free trial or the previous owner forgot to cancel his subscription. Either way, I'm loving it!

Is there a way to tell if I have a free or paid subscription?

Hi piratepress. It would almost certainly not be a "Free" trial/subscription from the Dealer or anywhere else. Previous owner probably never  bothered to cancel or transfer the subscription.

You could call SiriusXM with your vehicle info, Sirius account number etc., (should be available somewhere in your vehicle/audio settings) and ask.

Good luck.

You could open a Sirius account and enter the ESN of your Sirius receiver (Check OM for instructions). That would give you the details.  Of course, it could also tip them off about your situation, although I've found them to be pretty inept in general.

Thanks for the info. I still think it may be a free trial since I bought it from a big Nissan dealer and they have a current SiriusXM promotion: https://www.siriusxm.com/phx/trial-offer/nissan

Also, I noticed a "SiriusXM" sticker on the driver side window that looked new. Did Ford ever put these on the Fusion or any of its other cars?

At any rate, I should know momentarily as my three months will be up on January 10th. If it ceases before then, or goes beyond that date, then it is something other than the 90-day trial.

It appears, from this link,? that only Nissan-branded new and pre-owned vehicles are eligible for a free Sirius/XM trial.  I guess you'll know on 1/10.

Yes.  Ford put those stickers on the driver's window.  I always peel them off.  It just annoys me for some reason.  But that doesn't necessarily mean yours wasn't recently put there.

Hi piratepress. In addition to drolds1's good information, why not simply call or stop by and ask the Salesperson or other staff at the Dealership?

On a related note: Not saying it can't/doesn't happen, I just have never seen "SiriusXM" stickers on a Lincoln/Ford vehicle...my experience. I can't vouch for what an individual Dealership (or previous owner) may do.

EDIT - May have spoke too soon...lol. Seems "all CPO" and "eligible" pre-owned Ford vehicles are also eligible for a free 3 month SiriusXM trial, if the Dealer is enrolled in the program. See here: https://siriusxmdealer.com/ford/

Good luck.
