piratepress
I've owned a lot of cars in my life, but today was the first time I've ever had a mirror fall from my windshield! It was undeniably hot in my Fusion this afternoon, but I've had other cars in hotter weather and this never happened. I'm curious if this is just my shitty luck, or have other Fusions had the same thing happen?

Was your windshield ever replaced?
piratepress
It's a 2010 Sport that I purchased last year from the first owner and the glass looks original. It has the Ford stamp on it so it's not a lesser-quality replacement windshield. The good new is that I took it to a local glass shop today and they fixed it in ten minutes for $20 while I waited in the guest area. I realize I could have bought one of those fix-it packages from a car parts store, but I wanted it done professionally. I attempted to just "live without it" since I don't ever use the compass, but the lack of a backup camera is what convinced me otherwise.
