2012Fusion2.5 Posted February 28, 2022 Share Posted February 28, 2022 (edited) So I have a 2012 Ford Fusion SEL 2.5 I bought for my son. The CV axle was clicking on passenger side so I changed it. I had trouble getting it in, but finally got it. Drove fine the first couple of test runs, but next morning as he was on his way to school it seemed to pop out of gear and would not move in drive or reverse. Now, car starts fine but will not move in drive or reverse. Once returned to park it makes a loud clicking sound. Did this cause my transmission to fail? Worried.
