Blind spot sensor

Good afternoon forum,

Anyone ever program a blind spot sensor, my right side blind spot not working and diagnostic say the sensor is defective, I  found out that it have to be program, ford dealer want $1000,00 for part plus labor.

I recently paid almost $500 for a OEM speedometer sensor for my car.  I have the 6spd manual which was not a big hit I take it?  Anyways, I'm glad my car is the SE base model, I don't have any extra stuff to give me hell other than the radio.  Parts are expensive and just getting worse.  It's paving the way for planned obsolescence.

From what I've read, you were lucky to get it at any price.

I called my local dealer they said no yet the shop I chose to fix it managed to get them to order one.  I was told the same thing, other than a clutch an c/v axles there is pretty much nothing available for the transmission.  My car only has 98K KM on it so I hope it lasts.
