FXO
First time poster. I noticed that there was a TSB for 2006 Fusions regarding front end squeak. I have a 2007 Fusion SE with the 2.3 4-cyl and I have the same problem. The dealer has not been able to silence it. I believe they have been lubricating the rubber bushings on the sway bar and also the control arm bushings with no resolution. Anyone experienced this fault? Also, the front of my car is chipped severely from road debris such as sand, small pebbles. I'm visiting the dealer to see if they will consider covering the paint under warranty. I have a 2008 Taurus and it has a fraction of chips the Fusion does. Anyone have any experience with this issue? Thanks in advance for responding. xmech2k
I heard some of the early models suffered from sub-frame cracking under the engine, resulting in squeaking. May want to look into that if lubricating isn't helping.
