svaden
This is the Packaging Guide for the NEW 2012 Focus! I hope you enjoy this. 2012 Focus Guide One Ford Continuing the momentum of the One Ford strategy, the 2012 Focus was previewed at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. And like every Ford launch vehicle, the all-new Focus is designed to set new standards for its segment. For the 2012 Focus, the competitive segment is, literally, the world. This next generation Focus redefines the idea of a global platform for Ford, and for the customer. Born in Europe, Sold Worldwide The global design team diligently worked in the Ford of Europe studios to create an all-new C-car platform that would not only satisfy, but redefine and lead in each and every global market. The result is a Focus that will be sold in the Americas, Asia and throughout Europe all from the same platform and predominantly the same functionality and styling, no matter the continent. Waldo
That would be the 2012 Focus, not Fusion.
Grey
I was told the European Focus is the US Fusion. More ConFUSION!

Grey
More or less, but not exactly. OK, my bad. The European Fusion is a version (stretched) of the Fiesta. All I knew was that there was conFUSION somewhere. I wonder if they will straighten out the names when the 2012 is released.

The U.S. Fusion and the Euro Mondeo are cousins and will be merged onto the new CD4 platform. The new Focus is the global version for both U.S. and Europe with only minor differences outside of powertrains.
