NaplesBill
I'm new here and I just picked up my '06 Zephyr on Monday. It has the Moonroof, heated/cooled seats, THX II sound system and the chrome 17" wheels. Here are a few pics: I'm loving this car.
Drake
Awsome car. Love that color. The Zephyr/MkZ has been growing on me as late. If they'de do something with the tailights. They always look like they're upside down on the wrong side to me.
NaplesBill
I wasn't sure about the taillights when I first saw them months ago. I actually like them now(before I bought mine). I guess I just like that they're different and I like the way they light up.

Who is driving the yellow Explorer?, they might back into it........they would at my house...you can't park like that at my house! "Ya honey I was backing up without looking in the mirror or behind me and talking on the cell phone and I backed into your car.....oops....sorry"!
NaplesBill
The Explorer is also mine. I don't see that being in issue. LOL This pic is in the back yard in front of the workshop. There is plenty of parking so I usually try to park my vehicles together.

I noticed what looked like three buttons mounted on the right side of the drivers sun visor. What are they for? I also noticed it does not have the radio antenna mast. That makes for a smoother, sleeker look (our 2007 Fusion SEL AWD has one). How is the FM radio reception? Any problems? Is your antenna in the rear glass? Contrary to one other viewer's comments, I think the tail lights are pretty darn spiffy, a definite plus that adds to the appeal of the car. As I recall, you got one honey of a deal on this machine. Way to go! Does it have the 3.0 liter engine or the 3.5? Be sure and let us know what kind of mileage you get after it is broken in. Boz U R NEWS Salisbury, MD Awsome car. Love that color. The Zephyr/MkZ has been growing on me as late. If they'de do something with the tailights. They always look like they're upside down on the wrong side to me. Drake, I humbly disagree. I think the tail lights on the Zephyr are one of the car's best features. Very snazzy-looking. I like the grill of our Fusion SEL AWD better, but the Fusion's tail lights leave me a bit cold. I like large tail lights (I had a new 1966 Dodge Monaco in an ealier life.) The more red lenses the better, if tastefully done. NaplesBill
Thanks for the compliments U R NEWS. The buttons on the visor are for the homelink and remote gate/door opener. The antenna is in the rear window and the FM reception seems fine. Although I don't listen to much on FM anyway. The car is an '06 so it has the 3.0. Honestly, it wasn't worth losing the 3500 year end clearance rebates to get the 3.5 in an '07. The power from the 3.0 is more than enough for me.

Allen, Thanks for the tip. I'm new to the Forum and still learning how to operate it, same as with our 2007 Fusion SEL AWD. :doh copy:
