Fusion and Milan I4?

it only makes sense to me that these are exactly the same car (minus exterior appearance and options, etc)... But when looking at Steeda's website, they parts they list are for a Fusion... just as a precaution, is it safe to say that these parts will also fit the Milan, or is there some freak design characteristic that i don't know about?

Save for body panels, all parts should be completely interchangable. They're the same car with only chassis tuning between them.

 

Steeda is likely limited to the name they apply due to their license to use the Fusion name alone.

 

Ford likely does not want the aftermarket impressing upon people that the cars are the same. Keeping the Mercury identity separate is important in the big picture. Or it could simply be laziness in not wanting to type extra characters on every item ".../Milan."

exactly what i figured... but figured i'd ask because Steeda went as far as to mention the parts also fit the mazda.
