Cobra Dan
The wife and I took a 2008 Vapor Silver Milan for a drive this weekend... just a basic Milan... I4, auto, 16" wheels, etc... impressive. It's been years since i've driven a 4 cyl car. i was suprised at the power and the car's willingness to get me to where i was going and at a decent rate of acceleration. The car is crisp, tight, and felt very solid. Interior is very spacious (especially since all i've owned for the past several years have been Mustangs). And to top it off, this car, even it it's I4, non Premier trim, is well equipped and has plenty of luxury, as well as the look to back that up. very nice car. we'll be purchasing one of these soon... would like to buy this one, but we're pending the sale of one of our cars... so however long that takes... here are the pics.. The Vapor Silver is very nice. in my opinion, just another part of the car that adds to the overall luxury appearance of the car.
Meelaan
Very nice choice. What's up with the ghetto license plate on the trunk? Must be a Nevada thing?

Dealers down here don't need a dealer plate for cars that are taken on test drives. Only time I see dealer plates is for a dealer manager who uses one of the lot cars as his own.
Jimmy G
Very nice choice. What's up with the ghetto license plate on the trunk? Must be a Nevada thing? They do it here in Ohio also. Keeps the OHP from pulling you over.
Dyoct
The plastic bumper doesn't quite have the hold that metal does on the magnetic dealer plate. In fact, I remember when the first 07 Expedition landed last year at one of my dealers. There wasn't anything metal on the tailgate, had to place the plate behind the rear windshield. Dan, did you not ask about a possible trade-in?
Cobra Dan
Dan, did you not ask about a possible trade-in? the car is worth several thousand more than they can offer me on a trade... i did get it appaised for a trade though... just in case. they came up way short.

So you're selling your Mustang? Hang in there..it's worth the extra cash to go through the private saled. My old car, a 1998 Ford Contour SE .. took a week to sell, and that was after the first buyer fell through because Grandpa was buying the car as a first for his grandson..but his mom said no. Too fast a car to use for a first .. (I'll make our grandkids drive a Rambler!)

Whew! If nothing else, you'll appreciate knowing you'll have the capability to achieve 29-30.5mpg and around 470-500 miles on 16 gallons. That's what I've consistently been getting. And I drive around 600 miles/week.
Dyoct
$30 fillup? Did the previous gen Mustang have a smaller tank or do you just fill it more frequently? $30 isn't alot of gas at today's prices

Dyoct
Is it a smaller tank then? I recall my old 05 taking well over $30 a fillup on 87. I typically fillup once the 50 miles to empty warning comes on. Makes for a nice maximum fillup amount of $75 often in the truck.
