I am in Canada, and using a car starter extensively as we have experienced below 0 fahrenheit temperatures for far too long this winter. Summer (before I was using fuelly) I was seeing around 10.5L/100km. Which according to my calculator is 22.4 US MPG. Botts Posted April 2, 2014 Share Posted April 2, 2014 wow i barelly get 15MPG town driving with my fusion SEL 2010 3.0L v6 @65,865 miles meaby it was becose of the -30 ? and its AWD ?... (just bought the car 2 week ago) edit reason: kilometer to miles conversion problem lol It's gotta be the AWD, or you have a noticeably heavier foot than me. I'm in Edmonton, and experiencing the -30 crap all winter too. strangedaddy Posted October 24, 2014 Share Posted October 24, 2014 I commute 100 miles per day. I now have 110K on my car and was getting 25.5 mpg (half highway, half stop and go) at the best. I had problems with the throttle body sensor throwing wrench codes so Ford replaced it under warranty and now I am getting 26.8 driving under the same conditions. strangedaddy Posted November 11, 2014 Share Posted November 11, 2014 Update: In the past few weeks, I also replaced the purge valve (because of the P0456 code) and bumped up tire pressure to 35 psi and I am now getting a constant 27.3 mpg with the same mixed highway and stop and go traffic.
