Ford Fusion sound system tips

If you are planning to better your factory sound system and want to keep your Sync system, say you just want a little more bass like I did here are some tips. Since you need a RCA signal for an amplifier I recommend you get yourself a Line Output converter or (LOC) don't get the cheap $10 dollar ones because trust me you're regret the hell out of it even though its just $10 get yourself anything above $20 anything above that is usually good. A LOC is simple to use, you simply get the signal from your deck speakers and it converts it to RCA therefore you can now send the signal to your aftermarket amp. As for a remote turn on signal, don't even bother with this. You're going to need to tap into your ignition wires and unless you know what you're doing I recommend you take it to a local audio shop they're gonna charge you like $15-$20 but it's better than messing up your ignition switch. And the fire wall is easy to get to it's behind the break pedal, just remove a white plastic, recommend using a hammer and pushing it with the handle and it'll pop right off. I myself have a 600 watt Kenwood amp with 2 10 inch subwoofers in a ported enclosure and it sounds great, and you can select how much bass you want in your sync menu. I am proud of my sound system, It won me 2nd place at my school carshow. I hope this helps someone out, peace!
