bbf2530
Hi DBD. If you look closer, you will see that your Fusion has separate bulbs for the high beams and low beams. You can also check your Owners Manual for the correct bulb specs. Good luck. Edited August 30, 2013 by bbf2530

Well, actually it does answer your question. You simply are misunderstanding what "Quad beam headlights" actually means. Quad Beams means four headlight bulbs (or beams) total. Not four on each side, which I can only guess is what you think it means? Your car has two low beam bulbs and two high beam bulbs. That equals four headlight bulbs which means "Quad Beam Headlights". Parking light bulbs are not headlight bulbs. Hope this is clearer. Good luck

Good luck Pretty sure "quad beam headlights" mean when you flip your high beams, your low beams also stay on. With my Fusion sport my Low/High are on at the same time when I flip them to high beam. On my GMC Sierra when i flip my high beams my low beams turn off. The quad beam mod i did on my sierra is a relay that pulls power from the battery for your low beams when you flip your highs on. The same way a HID relay works. That is why it's called Quad Beam headlights Edited September 2, 2013 by huhh
DeadButDreaming
ok huhh another question for you ...I noticed when I flip my high beam on the fog lights turn off...is that normal??
drolds1
ok huhh another question for you ...I noticed when I flip my high beam on the fog lights turn off...is that normal?? Yes. IDK what the laws are in Jordan but in the U.S. a maximum of 4 front lights can be illuminated at one time. Therefore, when the high beams are on, the fog lights must shut off. IIRC your car is a U.S. model. Correct? Edited September 2, 2013 by drolds1

That is why it's called Quad Beam headlights Hi huhh. Yes, sorry if that was not clear in my replies. And yes DBD, for the reason Art mentions, it is "normal" for the fogs to go out when the highs are turned on. This is a safety related law meant to keep oncoming drivers from being blinded by too much light. Since our cars are "Quad beam" with the lows staying on when the highs are activated, the fog lights (if illuminated), must go off when the highs are turned on or flashed in order to meet the federal law concerning only four "illumination lights" being on at any time (parking lights don't count). In addition - Generally speaking, most of us should not have the fogs on unless it is foggy (thus the name "foglights"). And if it is foggy, it is unsafe to drive with the high beams on due to the fog reflecting the high beam glare back into the drivers eyes. That is why foglights are located low and aimed low...to minimize fog induced reflected glare. Good luck. Lucifer
True Quad HID Projectors: http://www.fordfusionforum.com/gallery/image/1334-quad-projectors/ Since we don't have fog in New Mexico I replaced the fog lights with HID driving lights too.
