Lunareclipse02
We always take our Fusion to the Ford dealer local to us. Sad to say thier customer service is lacking. The wife took it down there and when she came home I noticed that the under plastic linning was just dangling. So I crawled under and noticed she was missing over 15 screws and to top it off the plastic linning that covers the filter which looks like a circle was also missing. So I gave them a call and the gave me the run around of course. I went in to price the parts for replacement. The service counter guys are complete dicks because he quoted that I cant just order 15 screws, I would have to order a complete set which is 100. WTF am I going to do with 100 screws. I was so mad I stormed out and didnt even bother pricing out the other part. They also state their policy that they can not give part numbers out. So does anyone know what part numbers I need to fix this silly matter. Thanks
FusionDiffusion
Honestly, try a different dealer. That shouldn't happen. It depends on what you're ordering, but sometimes you might have to order more of something than you want because they come in "packs" of a certain number or size. But 100 screws minimum seems high (they usually come in packs of 10 or so). The dealer should give you the part number, that is not private information (I think the guy just made an excuse because he didn't know what the part number was). You can look up the parts yourself here: http://www.fordparts.com Just a note, fasteners usually have a short part number like HS1 or something as opposed to a typical Ford part number that might be 11 digits or so. You can also try Benny (@TascaParts) on here or an online Ford parts dealer like Tousley or something.
durasel
You need to go back to that dealer with your paperwork and speak with the service manager. If that doesn't work, ask to speak to the owner!! What happened is totally unacceptable. On my Sport, the large panel is held on by 4-5 screws, one of which also holds the oil filter panel. My oil panel comes off with 3 screws and the entire panel does not have to come off to do an oil change.

My oil panel comes off with 3 screws and the entire panel does not have to come off to do an oil change. I already did what you suggested. They just looked at me and said how can you prove we did this, as if I was taking it to someone else just after it was changed. Their excuse was it was already like that. The oil filter panel is missing and no screws there also. The reason why the act like this which I assume is they are the only Ford dealer within 200 miles, so they think they are above the law. Their review on Yelp is terrible so people already know their customer service. We went there for the assurance to keep the warranty but since the warranty is gone we will be taking it some where else or I am going to start doing it myself. The reason why we didnt do it before besides the warranty aspect is they only charged $30 for an oil change and tire rotation. I checked out Fordparts.com they do not list the parts I need. I also searched by part numbers and it still does not show. This website is useless. I dont want to drive over 200 miles to the nearest dealer to order parts and drive 200 miles back again to pick them up. I rather just find a good website and just order what I need and pay shipping.
borland
For your year and model, you can search for Body Hardware and click on this pictorial to bring up the parts list... http://parts.autonationfordwhitebearlake.com/parts/2010/FORD/FUSION/HYBRID/?siteid=214771&vehicleid=1444304&diagram=JR10030
borland
The small service cover retaining screws are not listed, but you could call them on the phone (or, slower, message by e-mail) and they will provide the part numbers and minimum package quantity. I've also ordered fasteners that were priced each, but was told I needed to order a package quantity. With the Ford part numbers, you can then order the parts online by entering the number in the parts search box. The search will bring up the part for adding to your shopping cart.
