12FUSION4US
I am back on here and I am back to being a Fusion Owner!!!! In June of 2011 I bought my first Fusion. She was a Black 2006 SEL. Loved the car and every aspect! On December 26, 2012 a Jeep Liberty turned in front of me and the rest is history. The front was smashed and the airbag deployed. I was short on time and ended up in a 2012 Focus SE. I have nothing against the car, just not for me. Finally, on 10/31/2013 I took delivery of my 2012 Tuexedo Black Fusion SE. I am far more happier with this than the Focus. Let the mods begin! Charlie Edited November 4, 2013 by 06FUSION4US
akirby
Just curious - why a 2012 Fusion and not a 2013?
12FUSION4US
Quite honestly it came to price point and color. All the 2013s were more than what I could afford. Then I found this black on black with only 33k miles. My Ford dealer I have known for years also hooked me up with a 7yr/100k Premium Care package. I am sure I could have waited...... but the focus was just not sitting well with me.
geost1
Congrads on your new ride. How about telling us a little about it? Did you get the 4cyl or V6? What kind of options? Got any photos yet? Incidently, you're probalbly better off with this 12 instead of redesign. There have been reports of issues and Consumer Reports just gave them a bad reliability rating. Probably best to let Ford work the bugs out before buying...

junehhan
Yup. The way the ratings are being done, someone who is unable to figure out how to use a particular feature potentially counts as a problem when it is just someone who didn't take the time to figure out how to use something. They also count software glitches as a problem. The bugs have been worked out already. Don't believe CR.
12FUSION4US
I picked up the 4cyl. I kept the car simple since I tend to modify. I did not add any fancy options. It has the basic power options. Delivery Day One Week Later - - Tinted
durasel
The nice thing on the 12 SE models is that they did away with those wheel covers on steel wheels!
junehhan
Those wheel covers on steel wheels were pretty unique as they kind of simulated the look of aluminum rims. Are there any advantages to steel rims outside of a lower cost? I know that they are of benefit to severe offroaders due to the malleability of steel, but we probably aren't going to be doing that in a Fusion.
