JeffWS
I am looking for some touch up paint for my 2010 Sport factory wheels. Has anyone located/used any that match the wheel color? Thanks, Jeff
nickstewartroc
I've been looking for some touchup paint as well, since mullinax screwed up my rim and won't own up to it even though I have pictures before and after having them touch it. But here is a thread from a while back on the touchup paint : http://www.fordfusionforum.com/topic/8083-sport-rims-touchup-color-match/ I'm hoping someone will chime in with a more "Ford" related paint and not just the generic type paint -Nick
BlueOval2010
I had the same problem with my 2010 sport. The guy that owned the car before me used the rims for curb feelers. I contacted Ford and they were no help. I found a can of Rust-Oleum custom shop series high performance wheel paint. It matches close enough to do spot touch-ups, and I actually repainted an entire spoke. Looks great. Get a can of clear coat to finish it off. Carefully wet sand the area prior to painting with a fine grit emery paper. I found the paint at Autoworks. Hope this helps.
BlueOval2010
Sorry - I forgot to mention the can simply has a silver metallic cap. No specific color is listed on the label.
Big Jim
Mny paint suppliers, including those that supply auto paint, have computer matching. Find a paint supplier that has that capability and show them the wheel you want matched.
