The 3.0l fusion will do 6.9sec 0-60 with the traction control off stock iv done it on more then one occasion an I think it is more then possible to do 6.8 maybe even 6.7 stock because I did 6.9 in 12 degree weather with salt on the road so for the fact that the fusion can hit 60mph at 6.9 or better stock with the right Cai exhaust, headers and a good tune you could get the car to run 13.5sec in 1/4 if you can get better traction because the tires will spin like crazy for about 2.5sec with the tc off so. Feel free to disagree with me I just know from the cars iv had that if uk what ur doing and get the right parts ul be suprized

I would be pleasantly surprised if you can get the 3.0 to 13.5 with the modest improvements you note. Surprised and excited, as that would suggest I could do the same with my Sport and see 13 flat. I think I would have to drop my car from 1/4 mile in the air to see a ET like that. Good luck though.

13.5 in a 3L? I really don't think so..

The Cougar/Contour guys that are running mid 13's in their 3L swapped cars are pushing 220hp to the wheels and their cars are 2900-3000lbs. Plus a manual trans so less drivetrain loss and LSD.

In fact I had a 3L Cougar with full bolt ons, tune, etc and was maybe close to mid 13's. Fusions are a lot heavier and the auto has some pretty bad drivetrain loss.

I just wish i could actually find a turbo kit for my 3.0L (i know i know). I do have the Steeda CAI and SCT tuner , i honestly have not been able to find a tune that actually works , the one Steeda sent me keeps putting the car into safe mode. Blackbetty, i believe we used to belong to the same cougar forum as well , I remember the name believe mine was Senninkai.
