robertlane
Really classy. You can tell they spend some time on the interior: http://fusionunleashed.com/2005/photos/zep...erior/index.htm
BORG
The details are nice, but I really don't like the overall effect when you're behind the wheel. The dash is very tall and boxy. It's a very intrusive interior design.
FLLMustang
I too am a bit disappointed in the Zepher...Zypher...Zephyr... (whatever) styling. The dash is a bit too retro to appeal to younger buyers which is Ford's target group for this vehicle... so I thought anyway. I would have preferred a more modern look.
urnews
I too am a bit disappointed in the Zepher...Zypher...Zephyr... (whatever) styling. The dash is a bit too retro to appeal to younger buyers which is Ford's target group for this vehicle... so I thought anyway. I would have preferred a more modern look. In the 16 months since this post the Zephyr has already lost its name and is now the MKZ, which is a mystery to me because I think Zephyr sounds better even if it is harder to spell. LOL. Personally, I like the SEL Fusion dash better. Maybe that's natural since we own one. The round air duct vents (same on the Mustang, BTW) look out of place to me on a what is basically a shoe box-, rectangular-shaped dash. Rectangles and circles just don't seem to blend together. Just a humble opinion. Boz
NaplesBill
Well, having driven my Zephyr for a month now I can tell you that there is nothing intrusive about this interior. In fact, it's the opposite. I feel that it actually makes it seem roomier and I find it very appealing. I especially enjoy the interior when driving at night. Everything lights up and is within easy reach. Everyone who has rode in my car immediately remark about how nice the interior is. I was very interested in the Fusion until I saw the interior. I did like the Milan interior with the 2-tone seating though. Also, if I remember correctly, Ford is trying to target the 35-45 year old crowd with this car. I'm 38 so I guess they are hitting the mark.
ctrcbob
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :doh copy: As for me, I love the interior of my MKZoom.
Drake
The silver chrome radio stack is so much nicer than the standard boring black. Very nice.
