DCSport
I have an odd request...I did a little research hand bought a used SCT SF3 (p/n 3015, so has pre-loaded tunes) tuner from someone locally that is unlocked of course. I was under the impression that the Fusions were part of the stock Strategy pre-loaded tunes, but apparently they are custom tunes from Steeda...whoops! Guess I didn't research enough. Anyway, I hooked up the X3 and it says my ECU is not supported, so I guess I need the custom tunes to load to my 2011 Fusion Sport. Anyone out there willing to share with me the Steeda tunes? I don't have the cold air yet, but I plan on getting it down the road, but I'll take whatever you can give me (stock engine 87/89 octane, and 91/93 octane with and without cold air intake). Figured maybe Steeda would be willing to give me the tunes if I bought a Cold-Air from them, but I'm not ready to buy that yet.....For now, I just need the stock tunes without cold air...thanks for the help!
DCSport
Oh and here is the picture of the screen, in case you need the Vehicle Code Edited March 16, 2014 by DCSport
BlackBetty
Steeda sells their tunes for I think 50 or 100.. You will need to give them the vehicle code and they will make a tune with your code. Unless someone else has the same vehicle/ PCM code I think your out of luck. Give unleashed and NPG a call too, they do data logging which would be a tune specific to your car.
DCSport
Yeah I figured that out the other day searching around on some other Fusion forums :-) BTW, Steeda only now offers their "tunes for life" program for $150, which I guess is an OK deal, just sucks since I'm not going to be modding this car all the time like I do my Mustang :-) I went ahead and signed up and ordered an 87, 89, and 91 octane stock tunes.....then when i get the cold air kit I can get the same three tunes done with insert removed. Just waiting on Steeda to e-mail them to me now!
BlackBetty
I did the same thing, bought the intake from Steeda and found a used xcal 3 for $200. Eventually I will go with an Unleashed or NPG tune. I would rather go through the extra work of data logging then a blanket tune from Steeda. I am happy with my Steeda tune but once I but te cats I'll get the other tune.
