SValley
I'd love some thoughts on this. I have a 2014 Fusion Energi. I prefer to stream pandora from my phone via BT. Every day, my phone connects fine, but autoplays my itunes immediately even though I have autoplay disabled in the settings. Problem #1. Problem #2, the stereo defaults to stereo every day, even though I re-set to Surround and leave it that way. Problem #3, When BT disconnects, the entertainment defaults to radio, and blast whatever channel it was tuned to last (often just static). If the last thing I did was stream over BT, why would the system default to radio ON, when it does not see the phone? The stereo sounds good in surround, streaming from my phone, so why can't it just stay on that setting and not try to adapt every day to something I don't use or want. Who the hell listens to radio anymore anyway? Was the Microsoft engineer 80?
RybSE
Radio still has it's place. Another thread here stated when Blue Tooth activates (or maybe used) it changes the setting to stereo. Don't know a thing about autoplay. My music is on an iPod and I just press "Media" when I want it.
Waldo
I listen to radio every day. The system is programmed to default to the radio tuner because it knows for sure that will always be available. That's how every Ford has worked for some time. What would you expect the system to do if it doesn't see your phone?
Dustin Laurent
The surround to stereo issue drives me crazy. I looked everywhere on the internet and it seems to a be a known bug with no solution to fix it. Can only hope that a new firmware some day will fix the issue.
akirby
I tried surround and hated it so it was never an issue for me. To me regular stereo sounds better.
