nrhunter
Today while driving my 2010 Ford Fusion the wrench trouble light came on. The engine began to putter and cut out..it even died twice on me. The only way I could clear the trouble was to turn the car off and then restart it. It seems to make the problem go away for now. Is this problem a throttle body issue and if so how much does it cost to fix?
akirby
That sounds like the right symptoms but you should check the code to be sure. If it's the TB I think it's a $200 part and about 20 minutes to change.
Bob B.
The throttle body replacement is under a 10 year extended warranty. Customer Satisfaction Program CSP13N03. The throttle body PCM update for the limp mode function is TSB13B17. My invoice calls it a "recall." Regards from Canada.
