08Fusion
What I got rid of to get the car. I kinda miss her, only lowered Explorer around my area. It was a 96 4.0 5 speed with only 48K when I got it. Had 56K when I got rid of her last month.
Mutnat
Your Fuzh is way more pimp than your old Exploder... Nice work.
enormus
The SAP wheels look great on that color. Looks good de-badged as well.
08Fusion
I was wondering if anyone would notice the de-badge lol. I really want the Steeda springs for it now.
Ozzie
I have seen a couple Fusion's with the 18" edge wheels. Including the 2008 SAP with the same model wheels too. I love it. Oz
08Fusion
The Edge wheels are not the same. They have a lip for the clip on wheel weights, the Fusion wheel does not.

What do you mean by de-badged? I still see the Ford ovals on there. Probably a thread on its own but what is the general consensus on Steeda products?

How could I miss such a HUGE difference! (read as sarcasm) They look enough alike I think. Few people would notice the soubtle differences and fewer care....including ME. Probably a thread on its own but what is the general consensus on Steeda products? By de-badged, he means the "FUSION" and "SE" or "SEL" and/or "V6" chrome-look letters have been removed from the trunk. Steeda is definitely a well-respected name in the Ford community in general, and is one of the main suppliers of Fusion parts from what I can tell.
08Fusion
Anyone want to take over my lease? 31 more months left on it, payments are $289 a month. Milage limit is 15,000/year. Currently has 6,000 miles on it. Let me know, need this gone ASAP. Bought another car. This one is in perfect condition. Factory wheels also included.

Hey man, what made you decide to abandon the Fusion for something else, only 5 months into your lease? What did you end up getting? Just curious...

Just curious... The car is slow, does not drive well on the highway... just overall not very happy with it. Im getting an Altima Coupe 3.5 6 speed.

Did you test drive the Fusion before taking delivery? If you were worried about power, why did you get the I4 over the V6?
08Fusion
Did you test drive the Fusion before taking delivery? If you were worried about power, why did you get the I4 over the V6? I did and at the time it was a very nice step up from the Explorer. Insurance cost is why I went with the I4. Ive just gotten to the point I dont like the car, I was not 100% happy on the test drive either but I said it would grow on me and for the monthly payments I could deal with it. But that was a mistake. You live, you learn I guess. The car is not stable at 75+ either, something I dont like. Have you ever done anything like the lease take-over? How will this affect my credit and such only having the car 3 months and then getting rid of it only to get right back into a 26K car? Ive made 3 payments on the lease, not 5 like I had said. I was thinking something else on my original post.

You have two things possibly working in your favour right now: (1) it's the end of the model year, and stock of 2008's is very hard to find, and (2) stock of SAP-equipped Fusions is even harder to find. On the other hand, if someone were able to find your exact car on a lot, they could walk in and get a brand new one with like zero miles for exactly the same commitment per month. And with being only 3 months in, you're not really offering them a better term or anything. I guess your best hope is to find someone who wanted a SAP Fusion and doesn't want to wait for the 09's to arrive. I wish you good luck.
08Fusion
Well mine is a base model S Fusion also, not a SAP. And the payoff is $18,500.
Mutnat
Whoops, my mistake; I was only looking at the wheels. I forgot you had swapped those out.
