CGYpride
Hello, First post on here, I just bought a white 2013 Ford Fusion SE and the side mirror on the passenger side needs some work. Everything on the mirror is perfectly fine (mirror, motor, outside casing and arm that attaches to the car) but the black outside boarder of the side mirror is cracked and runs into the inside of the mirror housing. Not sure how the previous owner managed to do this type of damage. Is there a way to only replace the boarder of the side mirror and the plastic on the inside? It looks like from research that its all one piece and the replacement will be very expensive as I will have the replace the most important part of the side mirror. Any advice would be incredibly appreciated.
bonvoyage
Same problem, have you found out a way to fix this. I went in shop to check on this and they gave an estimate of 1400 to replace the housing. no need of replacing everything, can border just be fixed ?
