kennycoulter
Is anyone using any tricks from the Focus ST on their Fusion?I have watched a few youtube videos about oil getting built up on the valves, and the recommended fix is a catch can. Usually that is done with performance applications.Anyone else running a tuner? Livernoise is a little expensive, but another customer that I have talked to claimed a gain in MPG by 11%...that is in addition to the gain in horsepower. How about any larger turbo or different downpipe/high flow cats?
BlackBetty
Check out cd3performamce.com There is someone also running the livernoise tune with bolt ons and has some pretty awesome results.
DJESE
The Livernois tunes are fantastic and very safe. I had one on my SHO. Edited March 30, 2015 by DJESE
Awest34
I've done a few things too my fusion. Aem cold air intake, Aem methanol injection kit with dual injection points (750cc's), cat back exhaust, drilled and slotted rotors, performance pads and thats about it for now. My plan is once my tax returns come through ill be buying a second Daily Driver and the fusion is gonna sit for a while. My plan is too pull the motor out, clean up the engine bay paint everything black and red is the color scheme im going with. Order a long block from LKQ, they've got one now with only a thousand miles for 1k. Order Boombas throttle body spacer, intake spacer, stage 2 oil catch can. 3in catless turbo downpipe, garret GTX2860R turbo upgrade, intercooler upgrade and piping, blow off valve probable going with a tial. then last but not least a tuner that can hold custome profiles for tuning. I'm Shooting for 400hp by the time im done doing all the upgrades and getting it tuned. cosmetically shes getting eibach lowering springs, xxr526's 18x9 rims, rolling the fenders majorly due to the fact im having to install an 1.25" spacer to convert my lug pattern to my rim of choice. and a few other things here and there but this is where im at and what im looking to do. A lot of the performance parts are gonna be focus based but everthing should be close with fitment etc cause of it being the same motor besides a couple things.
akirby
You could take the same money and buy a brand new Fusion sport.
