FTLFusionTitanium
I have a 2014 Fusion Titanium with a remote start. I have it set to auto - under settings > remote start > Climate Control > Heater-A/C > auto. When I first bought the vehicle , that option was greyed out - after several attempts , the dealer replaced an FCIM and the setting was available. Regardless of the temperature, air conditioning is at a medium lukewarm output until I push the start button on the vehicle. When I took it to the dealer, they told me that I should be using the last settings option and remember to put the AC at 72 before I shut off the car. I escalated to the Service Manager , and even opened a case with Ford , and both indicating that this was how the functionality worked. Then this past weekend , I tried the same steps on a 2015 Escape Titanium , and the air conditioner was blasting after I started the car with the remote and before I pushed the start button. Has anyone else had this problem ? My thought is that it is a minor setting change or something. It is starting to get very warm here in Florida , I rely on this functionality during the daytime. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Waldo
Unfortunately I don't know what your problem could be, but it absolutely should be putting out cold air during remote start on auto mode. Don't let them tell you otherwise. However as a test it would be a good idea to see what happens when you change the setting to "last setting" and leave it on various settings like 72 or Max A/C.
2014-Titanium-blue
I'm having the same problem. It was working for a while but now no heat or a/c with remote start.

Here's a copy of the tech bulletin for the issue. Take it to your dealership and have them update the firmware for the FCIM and it will fix your issue.
Deepesh
I was experiencing the same problem . I tried many wesites to find out the solution . When i tried to contact ford support they either didn’t reply or call gets disconnected every time. One day i drained my battery i left the headlights on it wasn’t on auto mode. Then i put a new battery which resets the system . Then i checked the settings it was working that time. So, i would suggest that you should open the battery terminals and put it back. It should work after that .
