craigcolley35 Posted May 26, 2015 Share Posted May 26, 2015 I have this system coming in, and it should be here tomorrow: http://www.pyleaudio.com/sku/PLCMDVR42 I am hoping that I can wire it into something up in the map light console, but I'm unsure if there's anything up there that would work. I have a 2012 Fusion SE and it is not equipped with a auto-dim mirror, just a standard old-school one with no cables/boxes coming out of the headliner. In the past (from experiences with my old mustang) I've noticed that Ford included the appropriate cables to plug-n-play add on accessories, but I'm not sure if that's still the case. If so, I could wire in to the cable that would be hanging out in the console not connected to anything. Does anyone have any experience with this type situation and could tell me if that cable is in there before I start taking my car apart? eGuru Posted June 30, 2015 Share Posted June 30, 2015 I have recently added a autodimming mirror with rear-view camera display in my 2012 SE. Sadly, Ford does not provide any wiring in the headliner for our use. At best, you can pick up 12V and ground from the feed to the overhead console lamps.
